Tell us something.: I’m back. After a couple of decades of arguing with the harp, it is finally clear to me that the issue is that my two hands are arguing with each other across my poor wee corpus callosum, and that I need to forget my childhood grudge against those (wind) instruments I could play like breathing and go ahead and just play them.

FS: Casey Burns Folk Flute in boxwood. Age unknown, early 00’s AFAIK. Played an hour a day for the past four months, so, broken-in and ready to go. Nothing at all wrong with it, it’s quite lovely really, I’m just moving in a different direction with my learning/playing.

$400 OVNO shipped/ insured CONUS.

The boxwood doesn’t have a ton of figure, but there’s a really nice effect around Casey’s fossil crinoid logo that makes it look like a shooting star. The flute is also quite straight, without any of the notorious banana effect that boxwood flutes can exhibit.
